The Los Angeles Air Force Spouses’ Club
The Los Angeles Air Force Spouses’ Club (LA AFSC) is a social organization, providing information and social opportunities to our members. We are a volunteer driven club, granting charitable contributions to our military and local communities. LA AFSC Welfare Fund is a tax-exempt, non-profit organization.
The club's monthly socials and ongoing small-group activities offer opportunities for military spouses to expand their circle of friends. In addition to serving as a social organization, the LA AFSC raises money for worthwhile causes and provides college scholarships for children of military and DoD Civilians serving in the LA area.. We also operate a thrift shop on Los Angeles Air Force Base in El Segundo and organize an annual Charity Auction and two other fundraisers during each club year..
Membership is open to the enlisted and officer spouses of Active Duty, Reserve, and National Guard, of all military service branches, including the Coast Guard, and their DoD civilian equivalents who are assigned to the Los Angeles area or who reside in the area while their spouses serve elsewhere. In addition, spouses of retired armed forces members/equivalent DoD civilians and widows/widowers of deceased armed forces members/equivalent DoD civilians living in the Los Angeles area are welcome. Privileges are also extended to adult dependent relatives residing with a LA AFSC member and spouses of active members of the armed forces of foreign nations stationed in the Los Angeles area.
